Woolwax® is formulated to be thicker and more resistant to wash-off .

Woolwax® is formulated to be thicker than any other lanolin based undercoating product.

Woolwax® has almost no smell. We have neutralized the strong wool grease odor with our proprietary process.

Woolwax® is formulated with more raw woolgrease (lanolin) than any competitive product. That makes Woolwax® considerably thicker and more resistant to wash-off for longer protection.

Woolwax® is applied using the same Kellsport Products spray guns that we have supplied for Fluid Film for 10+ years.

Woolwax® can be applied with most undercoating guns using 70-90 psi.

Since Woolwax® is formulated thicker, in cold weather it may be necessary to heat up the Woolwax® before applying. This is easily done by placing the container (bottle, pail, etc) in front of a floor heater for 5-10 minutes. After warming, stir well.

WOOLWAX® is a lanolin based auto / truck undercoating made from raw WOOLWAX®.

WOOLWAX® sprays on wet and does not dry out.

WOOLWAX® creates a thin lanolin film barrier to keep moisture and oxygen away from the base metal. * Solvent free. Environmentally friendly. * Always active and creeping into inaccessible areas. * WOOLWAX® will thicken to a gel film after applied and is very resistant to wash off. * Provides vehicle undercarriage protection for a full season. * Enclosed areas (doors, frame-rails, rocker-panels, etc., that are not exposed to road-wash will be protected indefinitely (years). This is the advantage of no solvents. There is nothing to dry up and evaporate.

WOOLWAX® is a "honey" color, but when applied appears fairly clear. WOOLWAX is a very clean product as opposed to messy black products.

WOOLWAX® is a non-drip formula. We make it to be as thick as possible to resist wash-off, yet still easily sprayable.

WOOLWAX® can be applied with most undercoating guns using a pressure of 70-90 psi. Proudly manufactured in U.S.A.

Note: WOOLWAX® contains more raw woolwax (lanolin) than any competitive product. This makes WOOLWAX® a more viscous (thicker) formula and much more resistant to wash-off. Because of this thick formulation it may be necessary to warm the WOOLWAX® for a few minutes in front of a floor heater, before spraying. Once applied the WOOLWAX® will thicken to it's original viscosity which is very resistant to wash-off and will provide a longer period of protection.

Many people that undercoat their vehicles with the "Black" Woolwax, use the "Straw" (clear) color for inside the doors, and even on other areas that are not visible. If you are ordering the Woolwax in Black, you may want to consider getting a quart or two for the enclosed protected areas that nobody will see. The quart containers are available at a discounted cost from the options section.

Woolwax definitely lasted longer than Fluid Film. I treated my (2) vehicles in the fall and checked the undercarriages several months later. There was still a fairly heavy coat of Woolwax protecting the vehicles. Product performed extremely well in my opinion.

Really happy with Woolwax

I got an advertisement for Woolwax from Kellsport, and decided to give it a try. I have been spraying 3 of my vehicles with Fluid Film for several years. I will be sticking with woolwax for a few reasons. 1. Smell. Woolwax smells, but not anywhere near as strong as FF. I did two of my cars with Woolwax and one with FF about a month ago. I can clearly tell which car has FF by the lingering smell after a month. 2. Black woolwax looks awesome. 3. Spraying back to back in my garage (on a lift), the Woolwax creates WAY less mist in the air. I am definitely getting more Woolwax when I need more.

I drive an old Jeep Wrangler that is in great shape yet and I plan to keep it that way. I sprayed my undercarriage, wheel wells and inside the boxed frame. I've been driving it for a couple of months now in snow and slush, and even the wheel wells are holding up well. The black made my 22 year old look better, but my main goal was to keep the rust at bay without doing a full body off the frame restoration. And as well as this stuff has been sticking I'm pretty convinced it will help me win the battle. Spraying it wasn't nearly as messy as I pictured it being. I'm very happy.

Absolutely necessary in roadsalt country

I have been using various undercoating products for years and had been using fluid film until woolwax was released. Woolwax exceeds fluid film in every way. Even in salt, slush, and slop it stays on the vehicles. My three month old application still looks fresh. It also benefits pivot points, such as parking brake linkages. I haven't had any seize up yet. I'm now a lifetime customer.

Midwest Rust, Road Salt, Brine & Calcium--You've Met Your Match!

Had always used the Fluid Film, so my vehicles have had a good "base coat" to begin with. This new WOOLWAX is definitely much thicker and came out of my Kellsport sprayer a bit slower than the FF, so take your time in applying it. Odorless to my old nose. Protect that investment you have--whether vehicle, farm equipment, ATV, whatever. Rust is at work 24/7--you aren't. Spray the large areas, get the enclosed cavities with the hoses, and then follow up with a hand coating via bristle brush if needed. Gents--get those brakes and fuel lines plastered but good; my old truck was not coated and these lines literally disintegrated! I always apply when the temps are warm so the viscosity is not an issue--plus, the thixotropic properties are enhanced--flows better when its warmer. Don't wait until the snow starts flying to apply. Buy now and do now. Cheers!

Awesome product

This stuff works amazing. Sticks really well, doesn't smell bad, and doesn't wash off too easily. Truck has been riding free for years.
